Ku Kukweni!

Nice to meet you!

I'm a product design lead passionate about transforming complex systems into clear, compelling user experiences. I've partnered with brands like Grammarly, Cisco Webex, Mixpanel, Urban Outfitters, Sumo Logic and even the US Department of Defense to craft experiences that help people do their best work.

I thrive at the intersection of storytelling and systems thinking—collaborating with cross-functional teams to uncover insights, shape strategic visions, and craft experiences that scale. I also care deeply about building a strong design culture: mentoring designers, evolving processes and championing inclusive, equitable hiring.

When I’m not designing, I’m dancing. I’m a Lindy Hopper and African American Jazz performer. Lindy Hop is a joyful, rhythmic social dance born in Harlem in the 1920s. Rooted in African American culture and community, it evolved alongside the jazz music of the era and continues to thrive as a street and club dance full of improvisation, energy, and connection—just like great design.

Rocio Del Carmen undeniably cares about creating safe spaces and ensuring everyone’s voice is heard. She has helped me realize my confidence while mentoring me through my first full-time role. To say she is a great leader is an understatement—she challenges the status quo of the workplace and brings to light real issues that need to be addressed within the systems we operate under.
